Hey all! I hope your week has been a lot calmer than mine! Ive been soooo busy with family and life and also with such bad weather its been hard to find some time to do some mini zen time. But I'm back! And today I am going to do a blog about a knife tutorial I did a loooonnggg time ago on instagram. I decided it would be a good idea  to have it available here too as well just in case :)

GRANDMA MOSES

Grandma Moses was a folk artist who began painting at the young age of 78! truly an inspiration to fulfill your dreams at anytime. She was the last doll for me to acquire and proved to be the hardest! I actually found her in a lot of dolls selling for $500. I asked if I was able to just purchase her and I was able to get her! Here she is :

ALSO!! A very interesting development in my search for information about these dolls! So I contacted numerous doll museums, and the doll museum in Denver Colorado gave me the great suggestion of contacting the U.F.D.C., which stands for the United Federation of Doll Clubs. A women there gave me the email to a particular doll specialist. In his response to my inquiry he said he think his friend Susan may be able to help me better than he could and told me he will reach out to her. Once I read that I said to myself :" Imagine if it was Susan Sirkis?". Now Susan Sirkis was one of the 4 people on the board who approved and designed the dolls back then. She was in charge of the accurate clothing. Well two days later..I  get an email from Susan Sirkis HERSELF!! She said she will be very happy to give me as much information as I'd like once she gets back from vacation in a week. ...!!!!OMG if you coud have seen me! I think I was hyperventilating hahaha. !!I cant WAIT to be able to speak to her!I feel like I am going to me a celebrity and at the same time have all my questions finally answered after all this time!!

 I will definitely keep you all updated!! EEEEEE!!!
